Had my impeller changed last week at a shop. Took 'er out for a spin yesterday and periodically checked the lube monitor to see if I needed to add more. This is the first boat I've had with a monitor, so if this has happened before I can't remember. But after a steady run of about 20 minutes I stopped to check again. I noticed the lube was looking a little foamy on top. Not like a milk shake (saw that on my last boat with engine oil), but more like the foam you see on top of boiling water. Judging from some of the other posts I've read, it sounds like maybe some air in the system and a little low on oil because the foam eventually settled and the lube looked normal, just a little lower. Am I correct in my thinking on this? Just want to have my facts straight before I call the mechanic. TIA
