I have a 2001 bass tracker. Sunday I took her out and, the warning alarm started to sound a solid beep. I just bought the boat 2 weeks ago and, I didn't get a maintenence manual on purchase. It now will sound a solid ring / beep if I turn the key on without attempting to crank the motor. Any idea would be much appreciated.

It's not the boat or anything except the motor causing the alarm. What motor is on the back?

Check the oil injection tank under the cowling, it might be empty

It's 3 1/4 full.

The sensor goes bad quite often. Unplug the wires off the oil bottle, then test. The float comes loose or the magnet comes off.

If still turns on, plug it back in and then unplug the heat temp sender and try again.

Sir. I didn't get a maintenence manual and, I have no idea where the auto pump sensor or the heat sensor are located. If I take a picture could you see the sensors? I'm very green on out board's. Thank you for your time and help..

Sorry but I would also have to look it up. If I new your serial number might get closer

Try the oil bottle since you know where that is. It happens quite often, and so much so many have removed the oil tank and pump and just started mixing oil and gas

I'm finding the serial number showing up as a 4 stroke EFI, but see no 2 stroker. In any case this is from the 4 stroke manual for continuous beep

It definitely a 2 stroke. I'll have to double check the serial number tomorrow. Anyway I downloaded the manual from the link you posted. And it never got into detail where the sensors are located on the motor.
