No spark. Boat was running fine and suddenly quit. Spark test showed no spark on all cylinders. So far have checked all wires for good, clean connections and all grounds. Tested key switch and performed stop circuit test. Both seemed fine. Anything else i can do while waiting for my turn in the shop? The only tester I have to work with currently is a multimeter. Sound like a power pack issue?

Thank you.

Okay, so I did it the hard way and replaced the power pack. Still no spark. Expensive lesson. Next I replaced the optical sensor and she fired right up. Problem solved, I hope.

Usually replace both at the same time. Now you have a spare power pack!!! A peak voltage meter capable of 500V is needed to test power pack in the future. Enjoy the season!!!!!

Where's the optical sensor? I searched for it in the online 225 parts shop on and couldn't find it. Maybe I don't have an optical sensor...
