Can a 2001 25 Johnson be converted to electric start with a 1984 donor motor? Everything works on the 84, but it is tired and needs rebuilding. The 2001 has been done.
electric start, yes and it's pretty simple.. Flywheel, starter/ bracket and some cables and a start button. Not 100% like factory but you'll spin it without pulling over.
