2001 merc 25 hp ?

Hi all I am new to this forum and have spent hours reading through alot of good information, my question to you is . I have a 2001 merc 25 hp tiller 2 stroke and want to know what is the difference between it and the 30 hp of the same year.

I guess i need to refine my question since no one will reply to it, is it something as simple as a carb or restrictor plate, or are there many differences between them.

Hey,

I'm new to the site to. I havent a clue what the differences are between the two. I know the only difference between a 9.9 and a 15 is the carb. Not sure if the same scenario is going on with the 25 and 30's or not. Maybe someone who has more knowlege than we do will read the post. Hang in there. Lots of smart guys around.
