2001 mercury 50hp 4 stroke bog down

This engine bogs down when throttling up and will stall. I can finesse my way through the bogdown and get beyond it and it runs well. I did notice the number 4 carburetor spray nozzle is not spraying. I’ve disassembled and cleaned that nozzle twice and it is clear. I checked the accelerator pump but didn’t find anything amiss, but maybe I’m not exactly sure what I am looking for. I can’t see what a new pump plunger would improve. There is fuel to the carburetor. Carbs have been cleaned multiple times as well as new needles and gaskets. Not sure where to go from here.
Ideas?
