Anybody own a Sea Pro SV2100?

I looked at a 2001 with a 150hp Yamaha. Seller is asking 12,900, but has said he would take 12,000. Has a custom leaning post. Nice custom t-top, furuno 600 L color fish finder, vhf radio and a 2003 trailer. Motor has 244 hours. What is a reasonable offer?

Next step is to find a good surveyor (Long Island NY).

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Looking to hear your opinions good and bad.

Sea Pro is a good mid tier boat. You need to test it in some chop. Not much deadrise. Calm conditions its OK.

HH

Deadrise is the degree of "V" at the transom. Flats boats have none. Bay boats have 14-18 degree deadrise and offshore boats have 18-24. True deep V's have 24 degrees, some have a little more. The higher the deadrise the better a boat rides and the better it cuts waves. There are some disadvantages to a high deadrise. They tend to rock and roll more at drift, anchor and troll. Personally it never bothers me in my 24 degree deadrise boat and I much prefer the smoother ride in rough seas.

WOT=Wide Open Throttle
HH
