I have a 2001 150 Optimax on my BW Ventura and it has the Smart Gauges. The Smart Gauges have not performed well even after serveral trips to the local mercury marine dealer. The left gauge just doesn't work most of the time. The last trip in they said a connection was the problem. Used the boat twice in mild conditions and now it doesn't work again. The speedo has never worked despite the dealer saying it is fixed. Given these gauges are hard to read to boot, I am wondering if I am just the unlucky one having these problem or are others having similar problems. Has anyone had similar problems?? Any ideas?
