motor is an 02 but new long block installed 2 years ago. Motor has 50 hrs overall =. Replaced fuel pumps, filter, injectors, throttle pos sensor and still wont run worth a crap. distributor and plug wires are most likly original ones. it idles great then when you put it in gear and start to give more throttle it starts to die or backfire thru intake. if you slowly ease the throttle it will rev up to about 2900rpm then shut off or sputter. when you pull back to neutral it will continue to idle then die when you put in gear. serial number on engine is 4202032980

Howdy
The serial number is for the drive. It happens quite often, who ever does the stamping of the tag, they mix up the numbers. Says its for a SX-M drive

Have you checked fuel pump pressure?

Thanks the serial number shows up

You have the Delco EST ignition which is pretty stable

I would check fuel pressure just to know if it can be ruled out

The regulator controls fuel pressure. If pressure is good I would ask where did you get the injectors, amazon or ebay maybe? If so that could be the problem

Might call but you don't want your number posted, use PM's to do that. BOT's troll these places

Connect voltmeter to +side of coil and then turn key ON, try to Start and see if power stays
