Is there a kit (or instructions) on how to get rid of the oil injection on my 2002 75ELPTO? It works fine, the motor runs great..and I want to keep it running great. I am just SO leary of these oil injections. Or do you guys think I am crazy? This is my first oil injected outboard and I have ready many posts on here where others have removed oil injection...and others who didnt and had it go out taking the motor with it.....HELP!

I have a 90 of that year and wouldn't disable it.....period.

Your choice however, beins it's your engine and you paid for it with your earnings.

Just be sure and put a string around your finger and only put in 6 gallons of gas at a time so you can insure that you get the required oil mixture.

Now if you have a 6 gallon remote can you can put in a little gas and oil, shake it up good and finish the fill...just like the owners manuals used to say. If you have a built in tank, you will have to shake the boat (kidding).

I think your chances of forgetting the oil are much greater than the Oil Injection System forgetting it.
