Thanks, as my question shows I don't know much about outboards. This one was on a 2002 Basstracker someone had for sale at the marina with trailer for $2500.
I went back earlier this morning and the kid at the Marina didn't know either but the motor cowl wasn't marked EFI. I got to take it out and whatever it is it runs great and seems like a good engine. Started right up, first try. After it warmed up I tried it at full throttle and it had more power than I expected based on what I've heard in the past about 4 strokes. If the tach's right it got up to 6'000 rpm quick and smooth. I tried it at 1,000 rpm and it was smooth and quiet. Might buy this one.
