The let couple of fishing trips have produced some odd engine performance. After trolling for extended time, she I take the motors out of gear to fight a fish, my port motor will emit a lot of smoke (more than ever before). Once in gear the smoke stops . The port motor does seem to be using more oil than the other. Also, there is more soot around and in the port exhaust just below the cowling. Motors have 250 hours. Should I be concerned?
