The tilt and trim motor on my motor stops working intermittantly, when it does run it is very slow on both tilt and trim up and down. I'm assuming the motor is going out because if I tap on the motor with the switch on it will usually start moving. My question is how to get the motor removed. I can reach 3 of the 4 bolts but the rear outside bolt seems to tight for me to get to. Is the answer to remove the entire assembly and then remove the motor or is there a trick to accessing the remaining bolt. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You will have to remove the clamp bracket om that side. Be sure the engine is supported when you do this.
