Have a 2003 Yamaha EFI V Max that is getting the warning buzzer after idling for a short time. It runs fine other than that. Is this the impeller or could it be thepump itself? If so, how difficult of a repair are we looking at? Thanks, Jay

the repair is simple, replace the water pump with kit number 61a-woo78-a3, both thermostats and replace the pressure control valve grommet.

Rodbolt, Thanks for your help...are all the needed gaskets in that water pump repair kit? Also, what about the thermostats and pressure grommet that you mentioned. Are they in the kit or sold separate on line somewhere? Thanks, Jay

unless the pump has been run dry and melted the pump housing all the needed pump parts are in the kit.
any sign of melt on the housing means you need that too.
the rest you order as needed.
