I posted a question about an oil alarm several weeks ago which was answered with advice on checking for clogging in the remote tank. Just got back to the boat today and think I have a more serious problem. After checking the engine oil tank it is low so there is no question I have a transfer problem as the remote tank is full. When I attempted to use the emergency switch to transfer oil it would not work. Port motor's switch works fine. Does this mean I have a bad pump on the starboard motor? If so, is this a repair u work recommend only be done by mechanic? If can be done by me, where is the pump located typically? Thanks

Put Direct Power To Pump On Remote Tank, See If It Runs, If It Does Then 90 Percent Chance Its The Harness , Check Coupling On The Harness At Motor, Check Contiuity On Wires From Tank To Coupling On Motor, Could Have Bad Ground, Especially Brown Wire, Have Ignition On When Checking, I Have The Same Problem Just Did Not Have Time To Get To The Boat
