G'day all, I've just bought this motor and its only got about 50hrs on it and was going like a rocket. Went out today after about a 5 week break from fishing and the motor started to miss every now and then. Brand new very clean fuel,no overheating,etc. The only thing that did go wrong was my battery gave up and went completely dead,I mean nothing at all, even though I had it on the charger the day before and it was fine. My sounder turned it self off at 16.5 volts and sent me into panic mode. Just wondering if the battery dropping dead and the motor pumping out 17+ volts would cause it to miss or should I be looking at a fuel problem?
