2003 suzuki dt 225 water pump

How hard is it for backyard mec to change water pump. does foot come off like johnson. Does shifter disconnect at bottom of engine like johnson.

Not positive about the 225, but as long as the bolts are'nt frozen, its not too bad, the shift disconnect is either between foot and midsection, or under actual head. Just make sure you dont kink the pick-up tube grommet when you re-install,
