2005 Merc 8hp 4 stroke will not start when hot

After my engine has been running and then shut off it will not subsequently start. It is a Manual start so this causes frustration and blisters". Any thoughts?

CHeck the plugs, is it flooded, idle set too rich?

My 2003 2 stroke used to do that when it was running too rich and I was running full speed and shut it off.

CHeck kill switches too. (ohm meter)
