Re: 2005 yamaha 4 stroke problem
Sounds like a fuel or fuel delivery problem. Do you have a water separating fuel filter? If so, check for water in the fuel or change the filter. How old is the fuel. Do you regularly treat the fuel with a fuel treatment? If not, do so. A heavy dose of SeaFoam may clear things up. Check/change the engine fuel filter. Does squeezing the primer bulb help when this occurs? Does the primer bulb get sucked flat when this occurs. All signs of a fuel restriction.
