2006 h.p. tohatsu9.9 stalls at mid range

2006 9.9 tohatsu idles and runs great at full throttle but when i try to set throtle to trolling speed just above idle it stalls and sounds like no spark or no fuel untill i turn throttle up then runs fine at fast speed, cleand carb and filter and fuel pump is pumping great it has only around 40 hours all trolling just above idle any ideas??

Time to troubleshoot. A Factory service manual can be your friend here. Start by verifying fuel and ignition systems, and CONFIRM that you are not even a drop overfilled on oil. If all you did to "clean the carb" was shoot it with a spray can, you need to instead do a thorough and proper carb dip cleaning.
