2007 Mercury 9.9 4st Pull start.

This motor stopped running and would not restart. Checked and there is no spark on either cylinder. Can anyone provide me with the test procedure for the coil unit, the CD charge coil and the position sensor. I have a test meter and a D-A converter.
I do suspect the power pack.

This motor looks like the same setup as the 2000 9.9 Suzuki 4st for which I have a manual. Could this be the same motor? I have tested the spark coil with two test meters and show open circuit between the two plug wires. Is this correct.

Is this the same or similar to the 2000 Suzuki 9.9 4 Stroke. I have a manual for that. I have tested the spark coil per the Suzuki and show open circuit between the plug wires. The S manual calls for 3900-4500 ohms.
Any thoughts on this?

I have been advised that this is a Tohatsu 9.8.
Still no further forward.
Need help. Reluctant to just throw money at it. Looking for a reasonably priced paper manual.
