I have a 2008 250 optimax pro with a steady beep as soo. As the engine starts its a non stop beep .. beep beep beep ........... I have checked the oil sensor and the water separator sensor and there fine I'm thinking I need to check the code so my question is will the Rinda Technology scan tool work and which one should I get ?

Thanks Mark .

A scanner is always best to have with the new motors.
Don't know for sure but most sensors work from a switch closing. Have you tried disconnecting the oil and water separator to see if it stops?

Continuous beep is guardian system warning.

Should be easy to find with a voltmeter

Overheat
Low oil
Engine speed limiter
low battery voltage
Coolant sensor failure
