2008 mercury verado 150hp gas in crank case

Hello all i hope everybody is having a good fathers day

I have a good friend who has a 2008 150hp verado tiller and everytime he goes out the crank case is full of gas and you have to drain it out is this normal?
the motor runs great dont miss a beat runs smooth the local dealer told him this is normal is it??

likely the fuel pressure regulator "manifold pressure" line has ruptured within the fuel module.
