2008 Optimax 150 starts missing at 6mph

On Saturday my Optimax starting missing at about six mph. It got worse the moreI accelerated and shut down when I got to 11 mph. Just had a new water pump installed so I doubt that's the problem.

I'm new to the site and any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Start simple. Good gas ? gas tank vent open, no holes in fuel line, change spark plugs.

Bad gas may be the culprit. I had just filled it.

Any other ideas?

if its 4 stroke EFI> you may have cracked vacuum line to the fuel regulator in the fuel module> look up your motor by SN in parts on Iboat and see it you have it. I had a cracked hose and it did the same thing.
