Ive Had The Boat For A Year With No Problems. However After Launching And Leaving Boat Siiting Until I Park The Trailer It Has Rubbed Up Against The Dock And Has Chipped Some Of The Decal Off. Any Suggestions Should I Just Buy Tape To Cover It In The Same Color Or Can I Possibly Order A New Decal
If Anyone Including You Own This How Do U Like It

Thanks :)

I had a John Deere farm tractor and soon after I repainted/decaled it I was washing it with a power washer and accidentally let the spray hit the yellow decal strip that runs down the side of the hood. It ripped a 3" chunk of the decal off.

I cleaned up the edges and went to the JD dealer and got some genuine JD Yellow and you couldn't tell it ever happened. But the paint has to match, otherwise you have a mess.

Problem with decals is getting them on straight without any bubbles or creases, especially when you are talking down the side of a boat....lotta decal.

the first thing I would do is buy some bumpers so after you fix it you don't screw it up again then I would go to a local sign shop, they should have the color you need and do a spot fix.

Chances are none but you will ever knoww it is there.

I worked for a sign shop for awhile and putting on really big stickers like that is pretty tricky and I'm sure expensive.

My thoughts exactly. If you are concerned about the appearance, protect it with some bumpers.

It's a boat, a fishing boat, take it fishing and forget about the decal. You're fishing, not posing for the paparazzi.

Better yet, trailer it down a few logging roads in the wilds of Canada, and get her into some of the lakes that only get fished once a decade.
You'll be catching so many fish that you will soon forget about how the boat looks.
