A guy on the seacraft site found his cap would not go back, this is what it looked like, see pic below. I guess he now owns a 4 inch wider boat.!

It might be just your pic but some of the work does look dry, but if you know it to be good in person then its just the photo.
You know what poor glass work looks like because you already removed some.
By the time you get to the non critical areas of the boat you'll be a resin expert, kinda backwards eh? ;
And I bet its not as ez to get in and out of the boat with a transom in the way.
US composite sells hi quality resin and supplies, can't go wrong with them but I have to buy cheaper stuff meself.
With the complete transom wall removal as you've done...
it would be foolish to use cheaper resin anyway.
