24 volt trolling motor chargeing

I have a 24 volt trolling motor that is wired direct to 2 12 volt batterys in series. Iv been charging them seperately,My question is if i have a 24 volt charger can i just plug into the motor pulg and charge both batterys at the same time???<br /><br /> Thanks in advance<br /><br /> Mike...

Charging your batteries the same why they were discharged is desirable. It is important to have two batteries of the same make, model, size, age.<br /><br />Note: given that there are very few 24v batteries readily available, what do you suppose all those 24v chargers are for?
