25 hp Etec wont fire

I cranked my 2010 25 hp Etec to let it run on muffs for a while. It ran fine and would rev up when I shifted it into forward. After a few minutes it started running rough and died as if it was not getting gas. I could get it to start a few times but it would immediately die when I put it in gear. Now it will not start and it appears to not be getting a spark. I pulled the plugs and put the against the engine block and can see no fire and the plugs are dry as if no gas is getting to them. I checked the fuse on the top of the engine and it was good.The fuel tank bulb is pumped firm and there is gas in the tank. I have never worked on a fuel injected engine so I am looking for some suggestions as to what I should do next !! Thanks for any help.

best be having a good look at the fuel supply. You may have water in fuel, or the methanol is saturated and has separated from the gasoline.

I do not believe that you can check spark on an e-tec by holding the plug against a block. You also cannot use an air gap tester.

Check fuel for seperation. Replace plugs making sure to index them properly. Trorque wrench for installing them. If that fails time to pull the codes.
