Hi, I,m new to this forum and need some help. I changed out my impeller on my 1997 25hp EL #OG478865 and my kid was helping me and I had him torque the 4 bolts on the gear case and when he was done he lowered the motor down before I connected the linkage pin back together. I got it back on but now the throttle has to be all the way forward to raise the motor. I know this motor has a gizmo that should raise the motor when in gear in case you hit something under water and it use to work right when I was in gear,not just all the way forward. Any ideas on how to adjust? Thanks.
