26' cheif on E-bay

I search e-bay and lunch today for starcraft and ran across a 26' Cheiftain, looks pretty good, but had the dreaded 470 motor. I think it was for $1800. It was I believe in the mid-west, way to far from Oregon for me. 1983 and is located in MI.

Yea but you can get a different motor to put in it though Elk. I would love to get my hands on a 26er, man that would be so sweet. I have seen em back the other direction as well and have thought of a road trip. But with diesel being the price it is, that would turn into one very expensive boat.

I am nearly certain that one sold a few weeks ago, something in the deal musta went south.
