And once the leak is fixed, learn to use the trim tabs properly (no offense, but they seem to be a new thing for you).

To get on planem trim the outdrive all the way down and position both tabs all the way down (Bow down on the switch). Hit the gas 90%.

When it comes on plane and the bow comes back down, trim the outdrive up 2 seconds (as a starting point) and raise both tabs all the way up.

Adjust the outdrive until optimal trim is achieved, lower tabs selectively to achieve stable (flat) ride. You may find that on flat water, with a minimal and evenly spread load, that "a little tab" on each side keeps you much more stable (e.g. they're down into the water like 10% each).

Adjust tabs (sometimes frequently) as bearing, wind, load, and sea conditions change.

On my prior boat, I had to work the tabs pretty much continually. Some hulls are just that way. On my current boat they're fine in the full-up position after I get on plane.

Good luck.

I think Gand Larsony might be closer to the problem. On my 28Ft. cruiser, if my drive is trimmed all the way in, the boat will lean over to one side or the other while going straight. This is not a tab or weight distribution issue. When I start to trim out my drive (NOT my tabs, which are both all the way up) the boat sits up straight again. Which actually makes sense to a degree. The aft portion of a hull is much flatter than the forward portion. too much drive in and the bow is driven down. think of what would happen if you laid the hull directly on the ground, it would not lie straight there either.

I would play with the drive trim more to see if that helps. Keep in mind the boat is going to heal in a turn and the higher above the water you are, the more exagerated that is going to feel.

From what the OP states in his very first post, this is a cuddy cabin boat, not a cabin cruiser so I don't imagine we talkng about a very tall boat here.

I can not see a boat being as tippee as was described due to the trim tabs being up.

I can see the boat being tippee due to alot of water swishing from one side to the other when you turn.

I agree. I have been on 8' wide flybridge boats that didn't seem tippe to me.

First of all I would like tothanks everybody for there input!!! I have figured out the problem and it was ME!!! LOL....I was using the trim tabs too much at a time instead of adjusting tem alittle bit and waiting for the boat to respond. Now that I have figured it out the boat runs great!!! Now we can go fast and I can turn fast and sharp and it doesn't feel like it's going to tip at all!!!

I'm pretty amazed though for a boat almost 30ft in length how fast it does go with a 19 pitch prop. We had 5 adults and 4 children going against current and was doing 38mph via GPS. With just me going with the current I was doing 52 mph via GPS and I feel if the water was alittle bit more calmer I could have gone faster yet. Imagine what I could have done with a higher pitched prop! lol

Good to hear! Do you still get a lot of water out of the drain plug though? I have a Celebrity 192SE Cuddy and after 8+ hours on the water I get a couple of drops.

I have a Celebrity 231 SE, it is a fast boat for it's size. I have the 5.7 260 HP and it hits 52 mph with me my wife and 3 boys. I am late to the thread, but i wanted to let OP know my boat steers like it's on rails. And check the water leak, i pump for about a minute after being out all day.
