Re: 26ft Cuddy cabin crusier feels like its going to tip over when you barely turn. W
And once the leak is fixed, learn to use the trim tabs properly (no offense, but they seem to be a new thing for you).
To get on planem trim the outdrive all the way down and position both tabs all the way down (Bow down on the switch). Hit the gas 90%.
When it comes on plane and the bow comes back down, trim the outdrive up 2 seconds (as a starting point) and raise both tabs all the way up.
Adjust the outdrive until optimal trim is achieved, lower tabs selectively to achieve stable (flat) ride. You may find that on flat water, with a minimal and evenly spread load, that "a little tab" on each side keeps you much more stable (e.g. they're down into the water like 10% each).
Adjust tabs (sometimes frequently) as bearing, wind, load, and sea conditions change.
On my prior boat, I had to work the tabs pretty much continually. Some hulls are just that way. On my current boat they're fine in the full-up position after I get on plane.
Good luck.
