Looks like a mid-70s vintage Starcraft SuperSport there in the snowy yard with the big rig. What are the plans for the little boat?

Hope this summer is splashdown time for you guys. Way to stick with it!:D

Re: 29' Carter Safari

haha, i actually do not know what kind of boat it is, we bought it for next to nothing a year or 2 back for the purpose of transport to our cabin on the gulf islands. Needed an aluminium boat to be able to bring it up on the rocks to unload supplies, etc. Its got a newer merc 115 on it and has been a great little boat.

Youve got me curious now... haha

went on a small shopping spree today to get all the parts that we need to finish the starboard engine off! Also got some ABS plastic for the dash, and the right connectors to hook up the steering!

Just found this thread and read from beginning to end! (well, so far...)
Hope you're still making progress. I've been blown away by the boat and the Beemer.

id like to quote post #418

well, another summer gone, another boatless summer unfortunatly this summer was WAY to busy.. both Brett and I worked at least full time, if not more at times, and neither of us shared days off. So the boat has unfortunatly suffered another summer of minimal work.

true again this year. I did go out today, for the first time in months, and turned the keys and both engines fired right up. That was rather motivating...

Turns out the cooling problems with the port engine were the heat exchanger, i took it off and pressure tested it... and well... it didnt hold pressure

cool I thought you guys sold the project or something. I am really stoked to see you guys finish this boat keep chiping at it. I was almost tempted to go look for you guys and personaly ask where you have been. if you ever need a hand or some cheap lumber give me a hoot I work in a saw mill in port alberni. I think i am the same age as you not to sure though.
