2nd cylinder has spark but no change when plug wire is pulled

Fact-----You adjust / set maximum timing advance only.-------Idle timing is where the throttle plates start to open !!!----Where timing is when engines idles properly does not matter and looks after itself.

Facts are very helpful! I guess where I am going with this is that now that I got the middle cylinder working the idle rpms seem to have gone from. 1000 on the muffs to 1300-1400 on the muffs. So I need to back off the idle screw and then reset the linkage... I think? And that should retard the idle timing as well, correct?
