3.0 MPI Failed Fuel Line

Fuel line from pump to fuel rail failed and started dumping gas on the running engine (scary).

Ordered new line and looking for torque spec at the fuel pump connection. Also, is this a common problem? I'm worried if it happens again what that could entail.

Exactly, or an explosion. Are these fuel lines unreliable? The boat has about 100 hours and is less than 10 years old.

Line was probably chaffing against something or could be a manufacturing defect, but not a common problem.
don’t know of a torque spec for the fuel line line connection get it good a snug with a calibrated elbow and check for leaks
