I am working on a 80,s 3.0L and noticed the vibration damper can be moved (slid) on the crank forward or backword. What holds the vibration damper on. is it press fitted? I do not see any bolt in center of pully. When I push it in it goes far enough that the belt does not line up exactly. The engine runs fine but I dont think this pully deal is a good thing.
