Hello. I have a 3.3 merc outboard that I use on my dinghy. Shifting has gotten more difficult with time to the point it won't shift at all. It is about 4 yrs. old, and I do not have the manual. Obviously needs lubrication, but I can't figure out how?
Thanks
Tom

I highly suggest buying a manual since it's much cheaper than buying a new outboard. They are available in the mall on this site. I'm sure iboats would gladly sell you a new outboard but it sounds like there could be a lot of use left in this 3.3. You live in Florida so there is no need to winterize but with regular maintenance your outboard could last another 20 or 30 years depending on use.

Thank you. I am aware that manuals are available and I appreciate your suggestion. I would like to know if anyone has had this problem, and how was it solved?
Thanks
d5
