I have and early 80's 3.6 Merc. I am trying to remove the flywheel. Usually there are threaded holes in the top of the flywheel for bolts when using a puller. This flywheel does not have any holes at all. Any suggestions?.....Thanks, Paul
Loosen the flywheel nut. Bring it flush with the top of the crankshaft.Use a brass hammer and pull up on the flywheel and hit the flywheel nut with the brass hammer. It may take a few hits.
