3.7L Merc - Waterpump Repair

I am preparing to fit a sleeve to the cam to restore the cam surface under the two seals on the water pump drive. I have mic'd the shaft and it measures .872, the smallest CR-speedy sleeves measure .873 to .877. Can anyone offer comment on this, will I be all right with sleeve using some Red Loc-tite, or JB Weld ?.

cracker36 I think you are doing ok..873 minus .872 is miniscule.<br />the sealer is good. Just position the sleeve where it is needed.Once I had to use 2 sleeves,and position was real important.<br />DHP

Thank for the input guys, I have ordered the new seals and the sleeves, I'll sign in later and let you know how I made out.
