3 wire Delco alt

I am trying to hook up a 3 wire Delco alt to my 88 omc 5.0 to a 2 battery isolator... can't find a diagram for my setup....

Delco SI Alternator 1-Wire vs 3-Wire Explained

terminal 1 goes to your ignition.

For your isolator, you need to connect terminal 2(sense) to one of your batteries after the isolator.

The power terminal goes to the input of your isolator.

Better suggestion...don't use an isolator and use an ACR.

I have a wire that goes from the alt to the + side of the coil, but it looks factory is that OK or do I need to remove that wire???
