332c updates

i recently bought and installed an lowrance lms 332c unit in my boat. i also purchased an lei nautical path usa card. i checked the 332 unit to make sure it has the most recent update, and it does. do i have to check the lgc 2000 unit for updates also before installing the card ? sure hope not ! thanx in advance.......Bill

Cards I have seen do not have any updates. Just plug it in and turn it on and your all set.<br /><br />Edit <br />Sorry I thought your were talking about a map card not the network. My mistake.

The LGC2000 also has an update...sorry!

Note: If you have not already done so, please update your LGC-2000 GPS module with the new LGC-2000 1.7 code before updating this unit with its latest code.<br /><br /><br />tommays
