350 Mag MPI bogging down under load

I spoke to Airtex tech support this morning and he said their e11004 pump is a 125psi pump. He said that there is some loss by the time that you measure it at the fuel rail but that he would expect to see 60-80psi with the FPR completely closed.

I ran into something while researching today that I'm not sure about. A while back, I read that the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail was a "dummy" regulator and didn't do anything. Is that correct or should I be testing that as well. I just assumed it was a "dummy" and haven't considered that in any testing. I looked up the part number (885174) and it wasn't cheap so it made me think that maybe it's not a "dummy" FPR. Any thoughts on this?

Its not really a dummy, but is used as a damper to reduce some of the pulses. I wouldn't worry about testing it

I'll report back when this is done Alldodge. I really appreciate your help with this. Unfortunately, I have bigger issues now. My bravo 3 will not go into forward. Seems to go in reverse fine. I even tried removing the shift cable and I can't get it to shift manually. It's a new shift cable so I guess If I was lucky the cable is rubbing on something and wore though the sheathing. I probably screwed something up when putting the new lube lines and and suspect water infiltration. I replaced the lines when I did the bellows job on this about 4-5 months ago.

I'm not sure where to start so I'm starting my research on youtube and the forums now.

Might be as simple as the cable keeper on the drive was not latched in
