Ken, the 3M 5200 has been around many decades, and an old tube from someones shop could be that old. The tubes are metal, but still, I always give'em a squeeze when I buy one, havn't yet gotten a bad tube, but I know they're out there. Chief

I must just be lucky. I use my 5200, put the cap on, and months later I can take the cap off and use it again. The nly time I have to get more is because for some odd reason I lose the tube and have to buy another one. I always get the small tubes at Walfart.
