Just dropped the boat in the water after rebuilding the transom and had water leaking through the bottom 2 motor mount bolts on an aluminum boat. Can I use 5200 to seal them or will they be to hard to remove this fall. Also, as a side, I had 2 small bolt holes I forgot to fill on the transom. They also leaked, I reached under the water with a finger full of 5200, dabbed some on each hole, stopped the leak immediately.

4200 for your motor bolts if you plan to pull them out.

I already used the 5200 because I was in a pinch, but I think/hope Ican still get the bolts out, hasn't really cured yet, I was able to spin them this morning, will pound them out tonight. What's the best way to use the 4200, fill the holes then put some on the bolt as I push it through, then goop some around the outside? It's hard to get in there because of the 1 inch gap between the transom and motor mount.
