so I winterized a friend's 2012 (again) last year in December after she kept saying that she was going to get it done...
anyway, it was near freezing at the time, and I apparently left the plugs out and hoses off. this spring, I couldn't remember if I had replaced that stuff or not. short version, the boat was started and run for maybe a minute or 2 (not my fault, she didn't wait for me!). when I checked it out I could hear a faint squeal and there was no water coming out of the hoses. the plumbing on this thing is a mystery to me and i can't trace the hoses back. so what needs to be fixed now? I don't have a sn for it

raw water impeller is toast. check the rubber exhaust couplings for burning.

is that all? the rubber didn't feel crunchy last time out. are there exhaust shutters? I'm secretly hoping that she ruins this engine so that I get a nice new upgraded hull (21' chappy, way nicer than mine) for free that I can throw a carb V8 into...

no exhaust shutters.

if the motor was only run for a minute or two, then the raw water impeller and maybe the rubber exhaust couplers.

if it was run for about 5 minutes or longer, circulating pump, heads, etc.
