I have a 98 Sunbird with the old style trim pump. It worked when I trimmed it down to run it on the muffs today and when I tried to trim back up or down nothing happened. I had no clicking of relays and no trim motor at all.
No breakers were tripped and I have power at the plug on top of the engine and at the board mounted on the pump. I was able to trim it back up by jumping across the board but now I'm stuck.
I'm not seeing any voltage at the plug coming to or from the side mount throttle and trim switch. The plug has three wires a blue, green, and red. Should any of these be hot?
Now that I have confused myself completely any help would be amazing.
