4.3L Volvo (Chevy Vortec)

Several weeks ago boat began to overheat. Shut down & took to service. They replaced water pump & impeller, spark plugs & bellows. Got it back - took out & ran for about 20 minutes - ran great. Thru anchor & relaxed for about an hour - then tried to re-start & go for a ride - wouldn't even crank or turn over. Got out of water & checked battery - fully charged.

Any ideas?

Got a full model number of the engine? 4.3L Volvo (Chevy Vortec) doesn't really tell us much.

1997 4.3L Volvo (Chevy Vortec). Larson 186SEI boat. Volvo Penta drive. Won't even crank or turn over. Just had previous issues repaired. Please help.

You might pull the spark plugs and try turning it over by hand. If you stopped too fast you may have got water in your cylinders. Welcome to iboats and good luck!

I'm planning on taking back to service tomorrow. I'm just hoping the motor is not locked up - although when it was running - it sounded/ran great.
