40hp suzuli power trim

how many screw/bolts are there to remove. i can see 2. trim will go down but not up. any ideas?

Are you asking how to remove the trim motor or assembly?
Does the trim go down by the trim switch with battery power or? Does the trim switch activate the trim motor??

it will go to the down position using the trim switch. i will go to that web site. thks for the reply

Most motors have "trim" relays located in the CDI box. See if you're getting power on both sides of the trim switch when in up and down position. And at trim motor when triming.Check the wires to and from the trim switch to the motor for loose/corroded wires. Use an ohm meter with power off to check open wire within circuit
