470 Engine turns over but wont start? 1977 Mercruiser

Man, it isn't easy to find a Dwell meter these days. Napa was the only local store that had one. Multi meter with dwell built in almost 100 bucks.
I'm sure there are some online, but I figured I could just run to town and grab one.

I had a customer recently give me a new in the box Sears engine analyzer from the 80's which reads dwell, RPM's, voltage, amps, and will tell you if the points are worn out or still good....

Oreileys Auto parts ordered me a Bosch multimeter /dwell meter its really nice. Was 48 bucks. So I will hopefully get dwell set this week. Seems like it should cost more being bosch and it looks really nice quality.
