The brown/white is in the engine harness, and goes from the 10 pin plug to the connector. It doesn't go anywhere else. You can leave it connected (no harm) or you can disconnect it and leave it dangling (no harm)..
Sorry to come back to this. With trim pump out, wanted to finally finish up sender and trim wires. I stuck my hand way down there found this. Must be the connector you mentioned that were supposed to be there. and there it is! Instrument side of harness I think.
Purple sleeve on one and blue on other.
they take male end plugs which is what trim sender has. just plug in trim sender wires? The wires going out to drive are completely gone. So I can’t trace anything.
The wires continuing on from this connection to harness are blue white and purple. And the black wires that are left are together so they came from one switch.
The Blue and white are tied together. just want to make sure one of here aren’t for the limit wire.
In Manual, the terminal block connection shows a brown white coming off and a wire they call black with arrow. Just looking at it for schematic colors are off. If you remember I am missing the #10 post on the instrument harness side, Male plug side.
So one of the send wires goes to ground? I know sender wires shouldn’t be confusing but I’m lost.
Here is another wire. The outdrive side has a purple sleeve. Then it has a blue/white wire that goes to trim gauge. This wire to gauge may have been added or replaced st some point it is zip ties outside of wire bundle.
Read your other thread. I explained the differences and which goes where in that one... Bit confusing having 2 threads open on the same subject, so let's leave this one and let it slip quietly into the archives.
