4hp bog down then stall?

hi all,<br /><br />mariner ser#od994186 3f9<br /><br />Do to a misplaced manual could i please have the proper oil/ gas ratio(probablly 50:1) Is this an 86 or 99?.<br />Secondly, I used 50:1 last year and never experienced any problems, however, this year on my 1st trip out it would idle nice and run at 1/2 power but when opened up to full it would suddenly bog down and stal! After 3 times i got skeered and trolled in lol. I hope no critical damage occured!! Any suggestions are of course appreciated. ty

86 or 99 should be rather obvious looking at the design of the motor. 86 will be kind of ugly, 99 will be nicer and more sleek looking. Either year the recommended oil will be 50:1, but as allways I recommend slighly more because it's only going to give you better protection...
